    • Backspace/Stop at Field Attribute

Otherwise, the X inhibited condition is displayed in the OIA area and the user must press the Reset key to unlock the keyboard and continue.
    • Cursor Left
The cursor is moved one position to the left without removing the character at that position. This is referred to as a "non-destructive" backspace.
    • Cursor Left/Stop at Field Attribute
If the screen position to the left of the cursor is in an unprotected field, the cursor is moved one position to the left without removing the character at that position. Otherwise, the X inhibited condition is displayed in the OIA area and the user must press the Reset key to unlock the keyboard and continue.
    • Auto Skipping Backspace
If the cursor is in an unprotected field, performs as Backspace. If in a protected field, moves to the last position of the previous unprotected field.
