The Minimize the Ribbon button , which is located on the far right-hand side of the ribbon command bar, allows the user to hide the tab groups and display only the ribbon tabs.


With this option enabled, the tab groups will display when one of the ribbon tabs is selected and will automatically hide when the user submits any command from the ribbon, or selects another area of the Flex Terminal Emulator application window. This includes the title bar, quick access toolbar, host screen, operator information area (OIA) or status bar.


This is the preferred option for users who require additional host screen area.

Tip: alternatively, any ribbon tab may be double-clicked to toggle the Minimize the Ribbon option on/off.
