The Flex Terminal Emulator macro scripting language is compatible with Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications, which is commonly referred to as VBA. For more information, see the VBA reference page.

In addition to the available Flex macro functions, there are also many objects, properties and methods used to interface with the host, utilizing the Open Host Interface Object (OHIO) interface.

All Flex Terminal Emulator macros have the .ams file extension and are, by default, saved in the Macros sub-folder of the user's Flex Terminal Emulator user directory.
