Page Setup
Select the File>Print>Page Setup menu command to configure the following settings related to how the Flex Terminal Emulator application prints. Options for screen printing and host printing are configured independently. Toggle between the two pages using the Next Page/Previous Page button (double arrows) at the top of the property page dialog.
Page Setup for Screen
This is page one of Page Setup, which displays options related to printing the host screen:
Printer
Options related to the Windows print driver:
- Name
Name of the currently selected printer. - Use Windows Default Printer
Enable to always use the default Windows printer, or disable to select another printer. - Properties
Click this button to display the Windows property page for the selected printer.
Layout
Options to determine the layout of the page:
- Font
Select Mirror Screen Font (default) to use the same font configured for the current host session , or choose from the list of installed fonts. - Header
Enter text to print at the top of the printed page(s), and/or enter any of the variables below to be included. - Footer
Enter text to print at the bottom of the printed page(s), and/or enter any of the variables below to be included.

- Orientation
Select Landscape or Portrait (default) for the page layout. - Margins (inches)
Enter a value for the Left, Right, Top and Bottom margins, where 0.5 inches is the default.
Show Print Dialog before Printing
Enable (default) to display the Print Dialog page before sending the print job to the selected printer. Disable to send the host screen directly to the printer.

Printer

Layout for Windows API Printing Mode
The following settings apply only when Windows API printing mode is selected for host printing. Passthrough printing mode sends data directly to the printer and ignores any of these settings.
The following options determine the layout of the page:
- Font
Choose from the list of installed fonts where Courier New is the default. - Orientation
Select Landscape or Portrait (default) for the page layout. - Margins (inches)
Enter a value for the Left, Right, Top and Bottom margins, where 0.5 inches is the default.
Show Print Dialog before Printing
Enable (default) to display the Print Dialog page before sending the print job to the selected printer. Disable to send the print job directly to the printer.
